This Royal Blue basket was inspired by a visit to Crater Lake National Park, where the water's deep blue color was mesmerizing. This basket mirrors that stunning shade woven using a slotted wood base, spokes, and weavers, all in royal blue.
Learn triple twine with a step up and how to transition from the solid blue bottom half to the natural reed of the top half with overlay techniques. Final embellishments feature blue leather handles attached to a blanket-stitched rim and two rows of Cherokee wheels added to the finished basket.
